しかしさすがに、客はやかましいくらい良く歌ってるな。日本でもこれくらい歌いましょうよー。でもやっぱり、異様にアップテンポ＆硬質なドラムアレンジに違和感があるとか言ったら贅沢過ぎてバチが当たるかな？
日本でも”Help me, I am in hell”と”The day the world went away”が聴きたいです・・・（実際に聞いたら泣いちゃいそう・・・）

海外記事より。John5のソロアルバムに関連したインタビューです。割とあっさりしたインタビューです。
KNAC.COM: When you played with Marilyn Manson…is that how you got the name John 5, and how did you get into that band?
JOHN 5: Yes. I went out to lunch with him one day, and we were talking, and he mentioned how he wanted me to join the band. He gave me name my name right then and there. I never auditioned, so it was pretty cool. I was in Manson for six years.
KNAC.COM: 君がマリリン・マンソンでプレイしていた時・・・君がJohn5の名前を得た時の事だが、君はどうやってそのバンドに入ったんだい？
JOHN 5: ああ。僕はある日彼と一緒にランチに出かけて、彼はその場の会話で、僕にバンドに入ってほしいと申し出たんだ。彼はその場で僕にこの名前をくれた。僕は一切オーディションを受ける必用がなかったので、それはとてもクールだったよ。僕は6年間マンソンに在籍した。

Darrin: Let’s talk a bit about the time you had with Marilyn Manson. I think my own real exposure to your playing was in Manson, and I had no idea that you were the player that you are. In Manson, it was hook filled and catchy, but not guitar virtuoso stuff. You never really got to show your stuff. Did you find that frustrating at all?
John 5: Marilyn Manson was just not that kind of a band. It just wasn’t a real guitar shredding kind of band by any means. I played for Marilyn Manson, I did not play for myself. So, I played for Manson, and I think that is why I worked so much still, is because I do play for the artist. But that is why I also did the solo instrumental stuff, because no one really knew I could play at all. I wanted to be able to show people that I could do this stuff too, and not just play Sweet Dreams.
Darrin: You must be getting sick of people always talking about how you leaving the band was in bad terms, and that Manson kicked you ion the head at a show, and all the general crap that follows a member leaving a popular band.
John 5: It was a very amicable split. It really wasn’t a bad breakup at all. We still talk and he has a new record coming out, and I just hope all the best for him. He is going to do great. He is a very smart man, and he knows what he is doing.
Darrin: I have heard he is a brilliant producer as well.
John 5: Yeah, he sure is. He is a very, very smart man.
Darrin: 君がマリリン・マンソンにいた頃の話をしようか。私が君のプレイに注目し始めたのはマンソンにいた頃からで、当時は君がそれほどのプレーヤーであるとは考えていなかった。マンソンでは、ギターの名人芸というよりも、単にキャッチーなリフに過ぎなかった。君は決して自分の腕を見せつけてはいけなかった。君はそれに苛立ったりはしなかったかい？
John 5: マリリン・マンソンはそういう種類のバンドではなかったからね。単にギターのリフがギンギンに唸っているような種類のバンドじゃない。それでも、僕はなおもマンソンのためにプレーしていたわけだけど、それは僕がアーティストのために仕事をしていたからだと思う。でも、それは僕がソロをやり始めた理由でもある、なぜって、誰も僕がこれほど演奏できるということを知らなかったからね。僕はSweet Dreams以外の曲も演奏できるんだってことを人々に見せてやりたかった。
Darrin: 君は、君がバンドを辞めたときの事について悪く言われるのに、さぞ、うんざりしているだろう、マンソンが君をライブで叩いた事や、人気のバンドを辞めたメンバーなどについての下らない噂に。
John 5: あれはとても友好的な出発だった。それは本当に全く悪い別れではなかった。僕たちはまだ会話をするし、彼は新しいレコードを出すけど、僕は本当にそれが彼のベストになる事を願っているよ。彼はとても賢いし、自分が何をやっているかを判っている。
Darrin: 私は彼が非常に才能があるプロデューサーだと聞きました。
John 5: ああ、その通りだよ。彼はとても頭がいい。
