ちょっと気を抜くとすぐヒゲ面になっちゃうのね。一部に、久々にすさまじい腐女子アイテムが写っているような気が・・・。

アレハンドロ・ホドロフスキーの息子でミュージシャンのAdanowskyさんが「俺は来年、8歳の時の”Santa Sangre”以来、久々に親父の映画、”King Shot”をスペインのアルメリアで撮影する予定だ。共演はニック・ノルティとマリリン・マンソンだ」と語っています。しっかり自分のアルバムの紹介もしてますが・・・。なお、マンソンの役は砂漠に埋まった半分化け物のシャーマンです。少なくともバーテンダーやトラック運転手よりは適役だよなあ。

El músico chileno Adanowsky, hijo del renombrado cineasta Alejandro Jodrowsky, dijo hoy que acompañará a su padre como actor, en su nueva película ‘King Shot’, que se filmará en marzo próximo en la provincia española de Almería.
‘Trabajé con mi padre a los 8 años, en la película ‘Santa Sangre’ (1989), y nuevamente trabajaré con él en su nueva cinta, King Shot, protagonizada por Nike Nolte y Marilyn Manson; se filmará en marzo del 2009 en Almería, España’, dijo Adanowsky a EFE.

腐女子に大人気、おなじみアーロン君のJubileeは現在英国ツアー中ですが、彼自身の言葉で語ったJubileeの真実です。
I’m in my studio right now, up in beautiful North Hollywood and it’s 4:45 in the morning. I’m putting the cherry on top of our album; little things here and there. At the end of our UK tour we fly to New York to mix the record and master it, then we keep touring and keep moving.
With Jubilee, initially the idea was to start something and write songs that were nothing like any of the bands we’d been in – or were in at the time – and to a certain extent that still is the idea. For me, I’ve always been in bands where there are dudes wearing black and songs about all the darker aspects of life. Not that there’s anything wrong with that – after all rock and roll’s not all shiny – but to a certain extent it can be easy for that darkness to turn into a cartoon, which is how I felt in the Icarus Line.
I played with those guys for nine years and felt like we’d become Spinal Tap. I felt like the band had run its course and took off, then ended up – funnily enough – playing material from Trent [Reznor]’s past that explored that dark stuff. Now, I’ve been playing music for a long time and I don’t really feel like getting a job at Subway anytime soon, so if I want to play music for the rest of my life I’ve got to figure out how to do it without ending up in this abyss of ugliness. It’s got to be a little more uplifting. I realise that sounds a little hippyish – like I want Jubilee to be a Christian band or something – but that’s not the case at all, there’s things I want to explore other than ‘drugs,’ ‘all women are whores’, ‘there’s no god,’ ‘live fast, die young.’
I’m not putting down Joe from the Icarus Line and definitely not Trent – he’s an amazing musician. Nine Inch Nails was fun but I didn’t feel like playing someone else’s songs my entire life either, I’m a songwriter, always have been, and I feel like I’ve got something to say other than all that stuff. So that’s that.
俺は今、小綺麗なノース・ハリウッドの自分のスタジオにいる、そして今は午前4時45分だ。俺は、俺たちのアルバムの細かい仕上げの作業をしているところだ。俺たちの英国ツアーの後で、俺たちはレコードのミキシングとマスタリングのためにニューヨークに飛び、更にツアーを続けて、動き続けるだろう。
Jubileeの最初のアイディアは、とにかく何かを始める事と、そして俺たちが今まで所属していた、あるいは当時存在していた、どのバンドとも違う曲を書くことであり、その考え方は今でも変わっていない。俺にとって、俺が今まで所属していたバンドは、いつも黒い服を着て、人生のダークな側面ばかりを強調した歌を歌っていた。別にそれが悪いと言っているわけじゃないし――ロックンロール全体がすべて明るい側面ばかりでない事も確かだ――だが、そのダークネスは、ある意味、簡単に漫画的になりやすいし、それは俺がIcarus Lineで感じていた事でもある。
9年間、連中とプレイしていた俺は、俺たちがスパイナル・タップ（訳注：映画の架空のバンド名）になったような気がしていた。俺は自然な経過とともにバンドを去り、そして奇妙なことに、更にダークなトレント・レズナーの過去の作品をプレイすることになったわけだ。今まで俺は、長い間音楽をプレイして来たが、今更、自分が地下鉄で仕事をやりたいとも思えない、だから、残りの人生も音楽を続けるつもりならば、俺は、なんとかこの醜悪な状況から抜け出す方法を探さなければならない。それには、もう少しだけ前向きになることだ。俺はそれが少々ヒッピー風な考え方だと判っている――まるで、Jubileeがクリスチャン・バンドか何かになったようだが――だが、それは全く違う、俺は「ドラッグ」や「全ての女は娼婦だ」や「神は死んだ」や「生き急ぎ、若死にする」以外の事を追求したいんだ。
俺はIcarus Lineのジョーを、ましてやトレント・レズナーの悪口を言うつもりは全く無い――彼は素晴らしいミュージシャンだ。Nine Inch Nailsは面白かったが、俺は一生、他人の曲だけをプレイしているつもりはなかったし、それに自分にはそれ以外に言うべきことがあるような気がしていた。つまり、そういう事だ。
