カンヌ映画祭のニュースより。マンソンが、友人であるホドロフスキー監督の伝奇的かつダーティーな映画、”King Kill”に出演する予定という話題がかなり以前から出ていましたが、資金難で計画が中断していました。しかし、ここに来てデヴィッド・リンチ監督のプロダクション、Absurdaによって製作される可能性が出てきました。ホントかよ。共演者はアーシア・アルジェントとニック・ノルティだそうです。ちなみにマンソンとトゥイギーは以前、端役でリンチ作品（ロスト・ハイウェイ）に出演しています。でも、マンソンとしては本来、ホドロフスキーの監督する映画に出たかったのではないでしょうか。
In other Lynch news, the filmmaker is also executive producing King Shot, a sex and violence-filled gangster film, under his Absurda production umbrella. Perennially disheveled actor Nick Nolte and shock rocker Marilyn Manson are attached to the film, which is expected to nab an NC-17 rating due to its graphic content.

In a separate development, Lynch’s Absurda production company has attached Asia Argento and Udo Kier to star with Nick Nolte in Alejandro Jodorowsky’s metaphysical gangster movie King Shot. Marilyn Manson is touted to appear as a prophet in the Sin City-style film.

Apparently, Marilyn Manson’s role as the prophet will also set him as “a beautiful woman.” According to the book, “King Shot” is also suppose to be Jodorowsky’s last film.
