The only mildly controversial statement Manson made was when he declared: “as you know I am responsible for every school shooting that ever happens”. His statement was a response to his name being linked to almost every school shooting from the Columbine High School massacre to the recent shooting at SuccessTech Academy in Cleveland.

Since summer, when he started on a 91-date world tour, shock-rocker Marilyn Manson has been gone a lot from his home in Chatsworth.
Apparently, absence hasn’t made his heart grow fonder, and now he’s listed the one-story, 4,500-square-foot Mediterranean for sale at $1.1 million.
The irony is that, after owning the property for a few years, he’s selling it just as he’s gotten the five-bedroom house the way he wants it. The 38-year-old musician turned the garage into a recording studio. The house also has an office-library and a bonus room. There is a pool and a covered barbecue.
Gated, on slightly more than half an acre and perched above street level for even more privacy, the home has Valley views. It was originally constructed in 1937 and was once owned by actors Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor. It has distressed hardwood floors and has been completely rebuilt through the years.
