For years I couldn’t stand Marilyn Manson. I liked his first album, but didn’t enjoy the others. When I received his latest nearly a year ago, I could have made an “educated guess,” writing the album “hasn’t given him much room for growth.”
But I didn’t. I listened to it three times and found that I liked the album as much as the first release. And that even surprised me.

Evan, who could be the next Meryl Streep, laughed when asked if there was anything she could not do. She’s a terrific young actress who has given good performances – and now, in this movie, we discovered that she sings well too. “I’m just as passionate about music as I am about acting, she said. “I have been singing just as long. I’ve always loved rock ‘n’ roll and that whole scene.”
Evan’s taste in music is reflected in her boyfriend, rocker Marilyn Manson. “We met because we’re supposed to be working together,” she stated. “He’s doing a film about Lewis Carroll (author of ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’). He’s kind of hard to explain. But we’re pretty similar – you’d be surprised. I don’t think that we were shy or insecure. We both deal with our demons through art and what we do. That’s how we are similar. He’s not scary. He can be if he wants to, but he’s very sweet (laughter).”
