これがなぜかどれも皆歯切れが悪い。「確かにトレント節で、NIN信者にはおなじみのインストなんだけど、３時間通して聴くのはちょっと辛いかな・・・ファンじゃない人間には、うん、５点満点中３点」こんなのばっかりなの。言いたいことは非常によくわかります。確かに昨年オスカーとGGを総なめにしてるし、迂闊な発言もできないのでしょうが、だからといって手放しの絶賛も、うーん。というところでしょうか。

The resulting soundscape is more emotionally affecting than you might expect, given the cyberpunk milieu; then again, this is a habitat that Mr. Reznor has inhabited for many years.

As a cohesive album fans will play again and again, Dragon Tattoo doesn’t work. But it succeeds where it counts: making it difficult to picture Fincher’s film without Reznor and Ross’ exceptional score. The duo has already been shortlisted for an Oscar. Don’t be surprised if they win again.
確かに、映画を精神分析したかのような、静謐で精密な音世界はサントラとしては傑出していても、あまり一般的ではないのかも知れませんね。管理人的にはフラジャイルの再来みたいでとっても嬉しいんですが。
一方、信者の絶賛はこちらです。これもある種すがすがしい。
